Extension 8875 is a conference bridge that connects to Hams Over IP (HOIP) Trunk, extension 100060.
Oklahoma VoIP System Overview
As of October 2, 2025, the Oklahoma VoIP System connects amateur radio operators across the state through four PBX systems, interconnected via IAX2 trunks. The network currently supports MeshPhone, AmateurWire, and Hams Over IP (HoIP) platforms.
Amateur radio operators wishing to request an extension on one of the PBX systems may contact the individuals listed below. Each contact is also available on QRZ.com for verification and additional information.
Duncan (580): Contact KD5TDK
Oklahoma City (405): Contact K5EXI
Oklahoma City (572): Contact K5GLH
Henryetta (918): Contact KD5FMU
Plans are in place to expand with additional PBXs, including the 539 area code.
Local Extensions: Four-digit format (e.g., 20XX, 51XX, 70XX, 88XX).
MeshPhone Calls: Prepend the appropriate area code to the extension (e.g., 405-20XX, 580-51XX, 918-70XX, 572-88XX).
Remote MeshPhone PBX Calls: Dial 78, wait for a secondary dial tone, then enter the full seven-digit number (XXX-XXXX).
Connect your VoIP phone to your AREDN node using Ethernet (enable PoE if required).
Access the phone’s configuration interface by entering its IP address into a web browser.
Configure the following settings:
Host: k5glh-pbx-572.local.mesh
Port: UDP 5060
Extension: Your assigned MeshPhone extension (88XX)
Password: Your assigned SIP password
MeshPhone (Local) → MeshPhone (Remote): Dial 78, wait for a dial tone, then enter the seven-digit number.
MeshPhone → Hams Over IP (HoIP): Dial 74 followed by the HoIP number (no second dial tone required).
Hams Over IP → MeshPhone: Dial 78 followed by the seven-digit MeshPhone number (e.g., 405-20XX).
MeshPhone → HoIP (via Remote Access): Dial 78 followed by the HoIP number.
